BARREL®
BARREL® is a cap sensitive cartridge water gel explosive for use in general smooth blasting operations. It is completely waterproof and can be used for shaft sinking as well as in horizontal holes. BARREL® is packed in plastic tubes, which may be interconnected to form continuous charges of any length. The 18mm tubes are suitable for blasting in holes of up to 50mm diameter. BARREL® does not contain nitro glycerine.

- Keep BARREL® away from any open flame and sources of extreme impact, friction, and heat
- Users must use BARREL® as per the agreed code of practice approved by the mine
- Users must always adhere to approved re entry periods
- All mining precautions for hazardous goods must be followed
- Shelf life of 12 months, but the regulations require storage of product not to exceed 3 months with manufacturer and not to exceed 3 months with user
